Letter-writing month

I googled 'writing month' today to see if there is one site that gives you all the monthly competitions. The one I found is out of date but the search threw up a couple of ideas I hadn't seen before:

national travel writing month
- they aim to send a query a day, or write an article a day. Now that's a tough challenge


I also found in April, a Card and Letter-writing Month. They aim to write a card or paper letter each day of the month. This one appeals to me a lot. I'll definitely do that later in the year.
