while you generate poems -of a kind
but once it's begun
silly posting's quite fun
and the absentee readers don't mind.

- 'Weekend Novelist Writes a Mystery' by RJ Ray & J Remick ~ An excellent step-by-step guide to constructing a crime or mystery novel.
- 'Escaping into the Open' by Elizabeth Berg ~ a gentle guide to help you get started. Ideal for someone new to writing.
- 'Lights! Camera! Fiction!' by Alfie Thompson ~ excellent on all story aspects and an easy read. Treat yourself -learn and enjoy!
- 'Hooked' by Les Edgerton ~ a great 2nd level book to help improve a first draft
- 'Plot & Structure' by James Scott Bell ~ best primer on how to write a novel. Packed with encouragment and helpful techniques.
